Kunming Jin Jiang Hotel, Kunming

I was a bit torn about my stay at the hotel. On one hand, the rooms were warm in winter with complimentary fruits and yogurts, but they were a bit stuffy and hard to control the temperature. The decor was dated, warm water unreliable, and the Wi-Fi barely worked. On the other hand, the service was attentive, noting details like needing moisturizers, but demanding payment upfront for meals. The location was convenient near transportation hubs, but the dining options were limited and the extra cost for some items felt unfair.

I had a comfortable stay at the hotel. The room was clean and cozy, although a bit dim at night. The staff provided excellent service, going above and beyond to assist despite language barriers. The location was superb, especially for exploring the Yunnan Province, but the dining options were limited for non-Chinese breakfast preferences.
